Mrs. Mary H. Kilbourn, age 77 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., passed away Monday, December 9, 2013, at her home. Mary was born October 30, 1936, in Mexico, Mo., the daughter of Ralph and Helen Lewellen Saylor. She was married on August 10, 1958, in Columbia, Mo., to Ray Moss, who preceded her in death on December 31, 1998. In June 1986, she married Ralph Kilbourn in Branson, Mo. and he survives in Jefferson City. A resident of the Jefferson City area for the past 50 years, Mary was a 1952 graduate of Mexico High School, Mexico, Mo. She was employed with Jefferson City Distributors and the Missouri Division of Employment Security for numerous years. She retired in 1998 after working at Central Bank. Mary was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church. She enjoyed bowling, bingo, but most importantly, she cherished time with her family. Survivors include: her husband of 27 years, Ralph Kilbourn; two daughters, Lana K. Kempker (Damon) of New Bloomfield, Mo. and Lisa Phelps (Gene) of Jefferson City, Mo.; one son, Brody H. Moss III of Jefferson City, Mo.; one brother, Bill Saylor (Pat) of Boonville, Mo.; two sisters, Carolyn Gruber of Montgomery City, Mo. and Denise Lenk (Mike) of Jefferson City, Mo.; five grandchildren, Jacob Kempker, Grace Kempker, Brandon Moss (Rebecca), Keith Duwayne Patterson (Jennifer), and Brandy Houston (Anthony); six great-grandchildren, Charles and Brandon Moss, Trevor, Jordan, and Austin Patterson, and Wyatt Houston. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, one sister, Frances Calvin, and an infant son. James "Gary" Wyrick, 67, of Jefferson City, passed away Monday, December 9, 2013, at Harry S. Truman Veterans Memorial Hospital. He was born September 29, 1946, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Clinton and Ina Mae (Wallace) Wyrick. On May 23, 1992, he was united in marriage to Gloria Heinemann, who survives at the home. Gary attended Tonganoxie High School in Tonganoxie, Kansas. He served in the United States Navy from 1964-1968. He was employed with the Department of Corrections for 17 years. Gary and his wife were also owners of Alternative Programs. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing and anything outdoors. Gary was also known for his awards that he won with his Halloween Costumes. Along with his wife Gloria and mother Ina Mae he is survived by two children: Joel Wyrick (Nikki) of Clifton, Missouri and Melissa Moreira (Robert) of New Bedford, Massachusetts; three step-children: Diane Leuthold (Dennis) of Hills, Minnesota, Sherri Beyenhof (David) of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Kristi Jones (Scott) of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; two brothers: Danny Wyrick (Claudia) of Denver, Colorado and Kenny Wyrick (Cathy) of Lawrence, Kansas and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nancy "Margaret" Peters, 88, of Cedar Park, Texas, formerly of Jefferson City, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2013, at Cottonwood Creek Nursing and Rehab. She was born November 23, 1925, in Eldon, Missouri, a daughter of the late Gordon C. and Bessie (Kaufmann) Peck. On August 7, 1953, Margaret was united in marriage in Independence, Missouri, to Rev. Glenn Harold Peters, who preceded her in death on December 11, 2008. Margaret attended Cooper School in Miller County and was a graduate of Eldon High School. In 1950, she earned a Bachelor in Education from Central Missouri State College in Warrensburg. She taught in country schools in Miller County, Independence, Rolesville, South Caroline and Holts Summit. She later was a realtor with Wade Realtors in the 1970's. She was a member of Concord Baptist Church and Moreau View Extension Club. She volunteered for several years at Memorial Hospital, Able Learning Center and Tutor and Tutor Trainer. She was actively involved with her church her entire life, and taught Sunday School classes to various ages for more than 50 years. She is survived by one daughter, Glenda "Ann" Durrett and her husband Thomas "J.D." Durrett II of Fulshear, Texas; and three grandchildren: Shandon, Marina and Matthew Durrett. She was preceded in death by her sister, Genevieve Jones, and two brothers: George H. Peck of Heartland, Michigan, and Gordon "Gene" Peck of Eldon. Darlis Myrtle Honse, age 86, of Vienna, departed this life on Saturday, December 7, 2013, in the Capital Region Medical Center, Jefferson City. She was born on June 30, 1927, near Vienna, in Maries County, a daughter of Adolph Frederick and Lettie Ann (Copeland) Picker. Darlis was united in marriage on July 10, 1982, at Vienna, to George Elmer "Buck" Honse, who preceded his wife in death on November 3, 1982. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Charles Edward Steadman on January 22, 1968, and William Coy Steadman on November 20, 1996; twin great-grandsons, William Joseph and Johnathon Wayne Steadman on February 27, 1998; her father on March 4, 1982; her mother on December 20, 1968; one brother, Charles Adolph Picker on May 2, 1987; and her sister, Bettie Lou Parks on June 21, 2011. Darlis had been a homemaker for all her working life and had owned and operated Steadman's Market, north of Vienna on Highway 63, for 20 years. The way Darlis lived and interacted with others was the best tribute anyone could have for their life. Those left to mourn the passing of Darlis include: two daughters, Letty Jo Farley and Betty Ann Whitsell, both of Jefferson City; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Clay and Emma Lou Picker, Union; other relatives and a host of friends. Clarice Mary Miller (nee Klutho), age 88, died Monday, December 2, 2013, at St. Peters Manor, St. Peters, Missouri. She was born January 23, 1925, in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Eugene Theodore Klutho and the late Clara Mary Klutho (nee Ortmann). Raised in Overland, Missouri, she graduated from Ritenour High School in 1943. She then worked as a stewardess for Ozark and TWA airlines. In 1973, she began work in the night school office of the University of Missouri - St. Louis (UMSL), retiring from there in November of 1986. On December 26, 1953, she married Edward S. Miller, who preceded her in death on October 10, 2002. To them were born five children, which they raised in Ferguson, Missouri, all of which survive: Michael (Sharon) Miller of Jefferson City, Missouri, Daniel (Diane) Miller of Fort Collins, Colorado, Susan (Francisco) Linan of Kirkwood, Missouri, Amy (Mark) Turner of St. Charles, Missouri and Matthew (Lori) Miller of St. Charles, Missouri. She is also survived by 12 Grandchildren: Jeremiah (Liz) Miller, Paul (Kendal) Miller, Matthew (Kacy) Miller, Kristin Miller, Benjamin Turner, Jacob (Kristin) Turner, Kathleen Miller, Christopher Miller, Alexander Linan, Nicholas Linan, Luke Turner and Victoria Miller and one Great-Grandchild, Autumn Grace Miller. She is also survived by two brothers, Roy (Shaney) Klutho of Florissant, Missouri and Victor (Joan) Klutho of St. Louis, Missouri. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Eugenia (Jeana) Harris and Marianne (Mimi) Pauly and an infant sibling. Tootie, as friends and relatives called her, enjoyed reading, walking, bicycling, her grandchildren, a chatty time and McDonald's ice cream cones. Her body was cremated. Her ashes will be buried with her husband in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Peter Catholic Church in Kirkwood, Missouri on Saturday, December 21, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. Following the Mass, friends and relatives will gather at the home of Amy and Mark Turner for a reception.

He served in the Army from 1963 to 1965. Bobby was united in marriage on March 11, 1967 in Eldon, Mo., to Earsey Darlene Brand, who survives of the home. He was employed with Eldon Special Road District until his retirement. He was a member of Spring Valley Baptist Church. Bobby enjoyed hunting, fishing, cutting wood, working on his farm and piddling around. He will be sadly missed. He enjoyed all the high things in life, especially working on cars, motorcycles, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. In 1948, Rosemary was united in marriage to Wilbur Francis "Bill" Novak, who preceded her in death on November 13, 2012. Rosemary worked for Wagner Electric in St. Louis and Genesco Shoe Company in McMinnville, Tennessee. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Jefferson City, and St. Ann's Sodality. She was also a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliaries in Jefferson City and Minnville. Rosemary enjoyed playing dominoes and bingo and vacationing and water skiing at Lake of the Ozarks. She was a very giving person who treated her nephews as if they were her own children and was a grandmother to the children in her neighborhood. She is survived by one brother, Robert L. Bauer and wife Mary Jane of Holts Summit; a sister-in-law, Janet Wujek of San Diego, California; and numerous other relatives and friends. One daughter, Francene Mary Ann Novak, preceded her in death. He was born on June 6, 1953, in Davenport, Iowa, the son of the late Shelley George and Virginia Mae Gaskey Stone. He was married on December 9, 2000, in Fenton, Missouri, to Linda Sue Carlson, who survives at the home. Mr. Ziebarth was a 1971 graduate of Davenport High School; graduated from Southside School of Preaching, Harrison, Arkansas; and received a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Ministry degree from Southern Christian University, Mobile, Alabama. He was employed as a Claims Technician with the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations for the past 14 years. He was previously a Minister of the Gospel with the Church of Christ for 25 years. A member of the Miller Street Church of Christ, Mr. Ziebarth was an avid woodworker, furniture maker, and guitarist, and especially enjoyed quilting and sewing with his wife. Other survivors include two sons, Bruce Carl Ziebarth Jr. (Jill), Hallsville, Missouri, and James Lee Ziebarth, Jefferson City; and two grandchildren, William Carl Ziebarth and Dylan James Ziebarth. W. Gene Armstrong, 88, of Columbia, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2013. He was a 1943 graduate of Hickman High School and attended the University of Missouri. On March 1, 1986, he was united in marriage with Sandra O'Guinn Snell at the Wilkes Blvd. Methodist Church. She preceded him in death May 14, 1997. He was a member of Wilkes Blvd. Methodist Church since 1932. He was a founding member of Boy Scout Troup 7 at the church and attained the rank of Eagle Scout. He was a member of the Civil Air Patrol. Gene worked as a Union Carpenter for various construction companies, including J. E. Hathman and B. D. Simon of Columbia and McCarthy Brothers of St. Louis. He was the superintendent on numerous buildings in Columbia including the Reynolds Alumni Center, four Mizzou parking garages and several dormitories in addition to the CenturyLink Telephone Building and the original Wal-Mart on the Business Loop. Mr. Armstrong was a member of the 65 year member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, a 61 year member of Masonic Lodge St. Bernard Number 222, a member of Acacia Lodge Number 602, he celebrated 60 years as a Knight Templar, a member of Rebekah Lodge #383, Temple Shrine #7 of the White Shrine of Jerusalem, Israel Shrine #11 of the White Shrine of Jerusalem, Boone Chapter #290 of the Eastern Star, Fraternal Order of the Eagles a 68 year member of the American Legion and a 67 year member of Local 1925 Carpenters union. Mr. Armstrong was a founding member of the Tiger Motor Patrol and the Tiger Shrine Clowns and was a proud member of the Moolah Temple Shriners. Gene served as a Deputy Sheriff for four different Boone County Sheriffs. Survivors include: his sister, Mary Frances Winter of Jefferson City, two nephews: Mark Winter of Warrenton and Michael Winter and his wife Mary of Lohman; three great-nieces: Ketti Cullom, Lucinda Winter and Justine Winter; godson, Dean Jones of Sturgeon and his special friend Doris Barnhart of Columbia. Sharon "Sheri" Kay Weber, 60, of Holts Summit, left this world Tuesday, December 10, 2013, at St. Mary's Health Center. She was born June 23, 1953, in St. Louis, Missouri, a daughter of Earl and Ruby Copeland. She attended Normandy High School in Normandy, Missouri. On January, 19, 1973, Sheri was united in marriage to Tom Weber, who survives at their home. Sheri worked at Wilson Trophy Company as an Engraving Department Supervisor for 30 plus years. She later worked at Ameriwood Industries and Watlow Electric before no longer being able to work. In October 1978, a daughter, Regina "Gina" Weber, was born to Tom and Sheri and survives at their home. According to Sheri, being a wife and mother was her greatest accomplishment. She was a loving and thoughtful mother always devoted to one goal, her daughter's happiness. Sheri was baptized at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in 1981. She was described by those who knew her as a sweet, warm-hearted, wonderful, caring, and funny person. "Everyone who met Sheri fell in love with her right away." Sheri enjoyed dancing, fishing, researching genealogy, bird watching, hummingbirds in particular. She collected many things but she most enjoyed angels and clocks. Sheri loved the movies "Dirty Dancing" and "Pretty Woman" and could quote them from beginning to end. She enjoyed resting with her puppy Mazy and staying under her heated blanket. Sheri did not allow you to leave her without saying, " I Love You" and giving a kiss. The family would like to express their thanks and love to Dr. Douglas Laux who was Sheri's "Sunshine" and his staff at JCMG Oncology. Other survivors include two sisters: Rometa Tomlinson and Sherma Deathridge; and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister: Patti Goehring (November 24, 2013). Celebration of life services will be privately held by the family at another date. Ludmilla B. (Struemph) Kliethermes, age 83, of St. Elizabeth, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2013, at her home. She was born in St. Elizabeth on August 25, 1930, daughter of the late William and Martha (Koehne) Struemph. On September 6, 1950, Ludmilla married Herbert Frank Kliethermes, who preceded her in death on November 30, 2010. Ludmilla was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting, gardening, and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Quilting Club, St. Ann's Sodality, and St. Lawrence Catholic Church in St. Elizabeth. She is survived by six children, Don Kliethermes and wife Lucy of St. Elizabeth, David Kliethermes and wife Delphine of St. Anthony, Roger Kliethermes and wife Shirley of St. Elizabeth, Dennis Kliethermes and wife Doris of St. Elizabeth, Ralph Kliethermes of St. Elizabeth, and Joann Evers and husband Alan of St. Elizabeth; 10 grandchildren, Doug Kliethermes, Darla Kliethermes, Jacob Kliethermes, Brad Kliethermes, Aaron Kliethermes, Andrea Fisher, Josh Evers, Brittany Otto, Shanley Kliethermes, and John Kliethermes; 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Ann Clevenger and Odellia Struemph; and two brothers, John Struemph and Francis Struemph. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Margie Johnson and Virginia Beach. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, December 17, 2013, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in St. Elizabeth. Fr. Ben Nwosu will officiate. Interment will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery in St. Elizabeth. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., with a prayer service at 7 p.m., on Monday, December 16, at the St. Elizabeth Community Center. Anna spent her life as a wife, mother, grandmother and caregiver to a handicapped gentleman. She lived her life with a kind, generous heart, always giving and putting others before herself. She is survived by her loving husband, Albert Wiley; two children, Peter and Lisa; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
